lyrics

I turn to the colours i know
and stick to the scent of the past
when you say that it´s time to go
i feel that you're moving too fast

i want to see life again
and move on a different track
when i feel that you´re holding my hand
in someway you hold me back

the early days are over as the sun begins to fade
but i will cross the border remember time is just a gate

you took me away from the flowers and rain
and all i recall is my undying pain
then i picture myself back where i used to stand
just an uncertain boy with his feet in the sand
now i found that the sand was soon washed away
but as i look through the rain that falls down
i seem to see flowers that stay

the early days are over as the sun begins to fade
but i will cross the border remember time is just a gate

i turn to the colours i know and stick to the scent of the past
when you say that it´s time to go i feel that you´re moving too fast

about

The R.S.B. Göttingen, Germany

The Rikky Schumann Band is a cross-genre music project from Göttingen, Germany. It all started with Rikky Schumann leaving the "New Factory" to go solo. Then "The Rikky Schumann Band" (The R.S.B.) developed. We play our own songs in the style that suits the message best. Sometimes it is a ballad, sometimes a rocksong or maybe folk. When the mood takes us we also play punk or even electropunk. ... more
